About the event
As Coaches we’re in the business of Personal Development. We help our Clients to discover their true self so that they can transform their lives. That’s a hugely valuable service that we bring to the world.
But what about us? Do we believe that because we’ve now stepped into a Coaching role, we’ve reached the pinnacle of our own personal development journey? Do we think there’s no more we need to learn or that we’ve done all the personal growth we need to do?
Do we – heaven forbid! – believe that we now have all the answers?
I’m sure that from time to time we all have questions, or lack the confidence to tackle a difficult situation with a Client, or feel the weight of all the problems and struggles that our Clients bring to us.
A very important way that we can continue to develop ourselves both personally and professionally is to work with an experienced Mentor.
A mentor is an experienced and knowledgeable individual who provides guidance, support, and advice to a less experienced person, known as a mentee or protégé. A mentor typically possesses expertise and skills in a specific field or domain and uses their experience to assist the mentee in their personal or professional development.
The role of a mentor goes beyond just imparting knowledge and skills. Mentors often serve as role models and sources of inspiration, helping the mentee navigate challenges, set goals, and make informed decisions. They offer a listening ear, share their own experiences and perspectives, and provide constructive feedback to help the mentee grow and succeed.
Join me for an interactive discussion of the benefits of working with a Mentor who can help you gain valuable insights, learn from your Mentor's experiences, expand your network and receive support in achieving your objectives.
